Cupcake Ice Cream Cones

 

  I first made these cupcakes for Emma-Lea's first birthday almost 18 years ago this coming August. I have since then wanted to master making them because that first time was a little bit of a disaster.

I think I first saw this method on Martha Stewart's TV show a few years ago. I used a cake mix that I exchanged water and oil for buttermilk and butter and used the same amounts as directed on the box.
