Twinkie Pie

Yes ,You read that correctly! Twinkie Pie.
   1 box of Twinkies
  2 3.9 boxes instant vanilla pudding
   31/2 cups milk
 20 oz.can crushed pineapple, drained
  Cool whip ,cherries and sprinkles .
In a large bowl whisk together pudding and milk for 2 minutes and set aside .
slice unwrapped Twinkies lengthwise .I used my biggest pie dish or you could use a 9x13 pan .Line the dish with the split Twinkies cream side up , then layer with pudding ,pineapple and cool whip cover with plastic wrap and let set up in the refrigerator for a few hours .
Garnish with sprinkles and cherries when ready to serve .
  I researched this recipe on line and found some variations, instead of pineapple I saw sliced strawberries and bananas.
I was inspired by the recipes of Paula Deen and the blog by Confessions of a Cookbook Queen.
  Last night was a Boy Scout Court of Honor and Pack Meeting Dinner .
I would like to thank everyone who brought food for the Chili and Pie Potluck .We had plenty of food and it was all delicious.

Turtle Cupcakes

I really need to thank my husband Ernie , and my girls Adrianne ,and Emma-Lea I was not feeling very good this weekend and they came to my rescue.  I had signed up to bring cupcakes to a potluck. Every idea I had did not work out .Time was getting short and we had to come up with something fast with what we had in my candy collection.This cupcake was inspired by a cupcake on Disney Family .com and desperation.

Puzzle Piece Charm Necklace.

 Just in case you thought all I do is make cupcakes .Well normally that's what I do but I was inspired to make these after hearing a wonderful spiritual thought given by my good friend Cheryl.Some how it was just what I needed to hear.She passed out this little bag of puzzle pieces with this quote attached.
"The truth is,those who diligently seek to learn of Christ eventually will come to know Him.They will personally receive a divine portrait of the Master , although it most often comes in the form of a puzzle one piece at a time .Each individual piece may not be easily recognizable by itself; it may not be clear how it relates to the whole .Each piece helps us to see the big picture a little more clearly .Eventually after enough pieces have been put together,we recognize the grand beauty of it all .Then, looking back on our experience,we see that the Savior had indeed come to be with us --not all at once but quietly,gently almost unnoticed"  (President Uchtdorf, April 2011 General Conference)
  So as I sat looking at all these little puzzle pieces.I wondered what could I do with them ?This is the result .I hope you like them.

A Cupcake ontop of another Cupcake.

I just thought these cupcakes were so cute. The idea came from Confessions of a cookbook queen. The cupcake is vanilla with Heath Bar toffee bits in side.and homemade butter cream frosting .The mini cupcakes are Reese's Peanut Butter Cup miniatures. These were very simple to make and that is a good thing . Because it was a very busy weekend with a science project due cookies and cupcakes to make .I also gave a talk in church on Sunday.I am hoping for a quiet Monday!!!
