Doughnuts are good luck!

I read today that circular foods in the shape of a ring are thought to bring good luck .Symbolizing coming full circle.My Good Luck Chocolate Doughnuts with chocolate glaze are made with whole wheat flour and baked not fried so I am already on the right track. So stay away from chicken because that is bad luck according to my brother in law Jim .I surely do not want to scratch for a living in 2012! Happy New Year !!!!

Gifts for Christmas

I woke up yesterday morning and it had snowed .My house is clean and I did not have to do it .Christmas music playing .Kids not fighting !!!!! I get to bake !So this is what I did with my time.Candied popcorn for my little ones.For all those who help with  those little ones Chocolate pretzel bites with M&Ms(Poop Decks) and Chocolate Chip cookies for Ernie .He requested them.

Christmas Cupcakes, Peppermint Swirl and Tangled Christmas lights

Emma requested a chocolate cupcake that tasted like peppermint .So here it is a Chocolate cupcake with peppermint butter cream frosting .The Christmas light cupcakes are inspired by a picture I saw on line but I used candy coated chocolate sunflower seeds called Sunny Seed Drops.

Santa Claus is coming to town.
