   Strawberry lemonade cupcakes with Lemon Butter cream frosting. Cupcake toppers are from a candy mold I got on vacation that was beach themed. I added  paper umbrellas.

    I don't have the opportunity to make cupcakes for little boys all that often. So I went a little crazy for this one's 7th. birthday!

Valentine's Day Cupcakes

   

   The first cupcakes are strawberry cupcakes with a cheesecake filling and a strawberry butter cream frosting and Teddy Grahams as toppers.
  The second batch of cupcakes are also strawberry but these cupcakes have a Nutella filling and a Nutella chocolate butter cream frosting and a marzipan strawberry on top.

http://www.yourcupofcake.com/2012/06/strawberry-pop-tart-cupcakes.html This is the recipe I followed.I added 1/2 a cup of mini chocolate chips  and 1 cup chopped freeze dried strawberry slices to the batter.To a can of vanilla frosting I added 1/4 of a cup of pulverized freeze dried strawberries and mixed it well. I swirled it ontop of the cupcakes and topped with mini chocolate chips.
