New Beginnings Cupcakes 2016

Kensington Ward Young Women's New Beginnings

Press forward with a steadfastness in Christ..... 3 Nephi 31:20 is the theme for the coming year.

I made Maple Pecan Chocolate chip cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. The inspiration for the decoration on the cupcake came from the invitation. There are also Orange Cream Snowball Cake Pops
The cute little cupcake stands were given to me by my sister for my birthday.

Witches Hats Cupcakes

Here is where I found the recipe for the cupcakes I made, for yet another Halloween party. http://birdonacake.blogspot.com/2012/03/orange-creamsicle-cupcakes.html. As for the witches hats they are chocolate mint cookies, dark chocolate Hershey's Kisses, orange candy coating, sprinkles and of course chocolate frosting.

Fortune Cookie Cupcakes

The fortune inside my Fortune Cookie said "There will be cupcakes in your future". Well of course there are cupcakes in my future, this was not hard to see I love cupcakes!!!! These cupcakes are special not only do they tell the future they have 2cups of sherbet in them. Here is the recipe http://thenymelrosefamily.com/2014/07/rainbow-sherbet-cupcakes.html/2 for the frosting I used  Pillsbury Creamy Supreme Orangesicle, Key lime and Pink Lemonade frosting one can of each. Swirled together on top of the cupcake with silver dragees  and a candy melt dipped fortune cookie.

Another Quick Cupcake Request

Emma-Lea sent me a text the other day and asked me if I could make some cupcakes for a school party. So I went and look in my Cupcake pantry which is a collection of cupcake ingredients, frosting, candy, sprinkles and cupcake liners. This is what I came up with a chocolate cupcake http://www.hellmanns.com/recipes/detail/35904/1/chocolate-mayonnaise-cake an orange butter cream frosting, chocolate jimmies ( I'm from New England and we call chocolate sprinkles "Jimmies") and Brach's Mandarin Orange Slices dipped in chocolate.
