The acorn cupcakes I made for my parents when they were here this past weekend.
  I love Thanksgiving. Each year we make some kind of  candy and cookie turkey. This year these turkey cupcakes went with Emma-lea to seminary.

 I wanted to make cupcakes for Maddy's Halloween party at school but with restrictions they had to be store bought.  BUMMER!  But that's not going to stop me. We have a meeting tonight to plan the ward Christmas party.  So guess what they are getting as a treat.

Pretzel Pumpkin Cupcake

Its finally October ! I love cupcakes and I love the fall.The changing leaves, apple cider, pumpkins and crisp cool days this is my favorite time of year . My Pretzel Pumpkin cupcake is a chocolate cupcake warmed up with spices such as cinnamon ,nutmeg,allspice and cardamom topped with an orange cream cheese buttercream frosting. Topped with a pretzel pumpkin .                                     
My 8 yr.old daughter Maddy made the fleese pumpkin at church the other night there is a roll of toilet paper inside ! So cute!

Turkey Trot 2011

So my daughter Maddy has been singing this little song for the last few days .It goes like this .... Turkey trot trot trot across the lot lot lot feeling fine fine fine till Thanksgiving time.She is 7 so we have been hearing it alot !!!

I know ThanksGiving is only a few days away but I saw these cupcakes and had to make them.I got the idea from( justJENN recipes) of course I had to put my own spin on them .I hope Ernie's class likes them. The cupcakes are chocolate with a vanilla butter cream frosting .
