Red Velvet Valentine's Day Cupcakes

After 2 days of snow. With my girls and husband home. I have been doing a lot of cooking and baking. Yesterday it was beef stew and homemade bread. Today its Red velvet cupcakes.
The cupcakes are topped with cream cheese frosting and 2 different candy hearts. Dove chocolate pretzel heart valentines and Wilton candy melts made from a mold.
My daughter Maddy was the one who wanted red velvet cupcakes. In fact she asked for the pink frosting and candy melt hearts. Now she has a choice but she only gets to have one! http://cincyshopper.com/valentine-pretzel-treats/

Christmas Cookie Wreath Cupcakes

Here is cupcake #2. This cupcake is also chocolate. Ernie requested chocolate because these cupcakes are going with him to the dental lab. They needed some Christmas spirit, they are not having a party. I also frosted the cupcakes with Pillsbury Funfetti Holiday Frosting in green. Murray butter cookies dipped in green melting chocolate sprinkled with Christmas sprinkles and M&Ms.

Here they are ready to deliver.
