Cupcakes in a Jar.

I took my Heath Bar Trifle recipe and downsized it .Using left over chocolate cupcakes from yesterday ,chocolate pudding .cool whip and milk chocolate toffee bits (Heath).I layered it as it is listed twice ending with the toffee bits .I also sliced the cupcake into two pieces top from the bottom.I twisted on the lid and added a spoon so I could give them as a treat to some wonderful friends .My daughter Emma-Lea made a few more for our Family Home Evening treat.

These cupcake sundaes were inspired by the Baking blog Love from the Oven .The cupcakes were a big hit with the 11 year old kids my husband teaches on sunday.And a happy send off to Megan and Miles as they move to thier new homes .
The cherry is a gumball .

Melted milk chocolate as the hot fudge.
A big scoop of buttercream frosting as the icecream.
A chocolate cupcake in the bottom of the sundae cup .

Pink Lemonade Cupcakes #1

 

I followed the recipe by Paula Deen for her Pink lemonade layer cake http://www.pauladeen.com/recipes/recipe_view/pink_lemonade_layer_cake/ the frosting I found in the cookbook, Cupcake Fun Stuff.
The cupcakes are for a goodbye party for some beautiful young ladies who will be moving away this summer .I hope they know how much they will be missed.
