Black Forest Cupcakes

Its been along time since I have posted anything new .We have moved back to the east coast. Silver Spring MD. to be exact .My husband is now working at the VA in DC. He also takes the Metro so now I have a car !Its only taken 15 years.
Anyway back to the cupcakes My daughter Emma-Lea had a back to Seminary fireside last night so we made Black Forest cupcakes with cherry filling inside a chocolate cupcake with creamy vanilla frosting .

Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins



     I wanted to use up some ripe bananas .I also wanted to make some thing fun for Ernie's 11 year old Primary class.Next Sunday is his last before we make our big move .So I decided to make banana chocolate chip muffins .But they looked kind of naked. I dressed them in chocolate frosting ,mini chocolate chips and a banana marshmallows .It was a party Ernie's teaching partner brought cookies and they watched a DVD .The kids think they have the best teachers ! I know they do!!

   



One Cool Pop Cupcakes Fathers Day

Happy Fathers Day to my Dad and to my Husband I hope you both had a wonderful day !

These cupcakes are  an orange cupcake with an orange and vanilla cream swirl frosting.The cupcake topper is  Mike &Ike's candies made to look like Popsicles with flat tooth pics.

I made these cupcakes for a Fathers Day get together after church this afternoon .

Captain America inspired cupcakes for Memorial Day Picnic

I just want to take a moment to remember and to thank all those who have served this wonderful country ,and gave the ultimate sacrifice .So that we may enjoy our Freedom.

As you can see I took a white cake mix and colored the batter red,white and blue.Then decorated the cupcakes with white candy melt stars spray painted silver, edible star glitter and red and blue frosting.

These Spring time beauties were very easy and fun to make .This was my first attempt to make a cupcake bouquet.These chocolate cupcakes were decorated with marshmellows and Good &Plenty candy.

Mother's Day Breakfast ,Dinner and Treats

My husband and kids made me breakfast in bed this morning Grilled Portobello Eggs Benedict with Hashbrowns it was all very good and I was very impressed for dinner they made me Cuban Sandwiches .Would it be to much to ask for the same breakfast next week!

These treats are candy coated Oreos. They were for my little ones in the nursery to give to their mothers .I hope every one had a wonderful  Mother's Day !And a special Happy Mother's Day to my Mother I love you !!!!

Maddy's Baptism and Teagan's Birthday

Maddy's Baptism it was a wonderful morning and she was beautiful in the white dress. In the pictures she is with her Father Ernie ,her Primary teacher Sister Brooks and her friend Lauren.
If you want to keep all the little ones in one place play a DVD. My sister Jen sent beautiful butterfly cookies they were a huge hit !Maddy requested pink cupcakes .I decorated them with the Chicago Temple on top.
Emma's friend Teagan is celebrating her birthday today so we decided on The Hunger Games cupcakes I got the idea for those cupcakes from the blog Sweet tooth.
