Chocolate cupcakes for Emma-Lea's 18th Birthday!

    Emma-Lea Loves dinosaurs ever since she was little. She talked me into buying the chocolate mold by saying she wanted them on her birthday cupcakes. This was months ago and I kind of forgot until a few days ago. Luckily I had every thing I needed. Happy Birthday!!!!

Of course I had to add some pink Maddy's favorite color. I used the new frosting flavor Raspberry Sherbet by Betty Crocker and a can of cream cheese frosting swirled on top with candy mold butterflies.

Cupcake Ice Cream Cones

 

  I first made these cupcakes for Emma-Lea's first birthday almost 18 years ago this coming August. I have since then wanted to master making them because that first time was a little bit of a disaster.

But when I saw how this person made them on her blog, I had to try it.  http://lickthebowlgood.blogspot.com/2013/10/ice-cream-cone-cupcakes-pillsbury.html. I think I first saw this method on Martha Stewart's TV show a few years ago. I used a cake mix that I exchanged water and oil for buttermilk and butter and used the same amounts as directed on the box. 

  

 

 

 

Winter, Spring, Summer, & Fall Cupcakes

   Well its the end of Winter. Almost the beginning of spring. Summer is on its way. Fall is my favorite time of year!
  I got to celebrate all 4 seasons with these cupcakes for a birthday party for the Rockville ward Relief Society.
