Little Pink Pacifier Cupcakes

Little baby girls are everywhere it seems. My brother and his wife had a baby girl this week and so did  some friends of ours. So welcome Charlotte , Eliza, and Skylar.

Home made vanilla cupcakes not from a box. Cotton candy flavored frosting you can only get at Target. Lifesaver and Jelly Belly pacifier cupcake toppers. 3 baby girls PRICELESS! 

 

Watermelon Cupcakes

Watermelon cupcakes for the Talent show tonight.
I made the cupcake stand to match the cupcakes. The plates are from Target 1.99 each the candle sticks from the Dollar Tree and some E-6000 glue.
The cupcake recipe is from http://hoosierhomemade.com/watermelon-cupcakes-cupcake-tuesday/. The frosting is a white decorator frosting tinted green with a lemon glaze underneath. A sour watermelon candy on top .

Half Moon Cakes or Black and Whites

  Depending on where you live these cookie are either called Black and Whites in New York City or Half Moon Cakes in New England. At least that's what Eileen called them, she was one of the ladies I worked with at Raschel's Ink in Foxboro Ma. The children's clothing store is no longer there but I remember these cookies. I loved them. I never did get the recipe. These I found on Pinterest. These cookies are delicious but not quite as good as Eileen's. Maybe because I made them and not Eileen.
