Half Moon Cakes or Black and Whites

  Depending on where you live these cookie are either called Black and Whites in New York City or Half Moon Cakes in New England. At least that's what Eileen called them, she was one of the ladies I worked with at Raschel's Ink in Foxboro Ma. The children's clothing store is no longer there but I remember these cookies. I loved them. I never did get the recipe. These I found on Pinterest. These cookies are delicious but not quite as good as Eileen's. Maybe because I made them and not Eileen.
